The Heights, a very creative and interesting part of Houston
I found "The Heights" section of Houston. I've been there before but I visited the neighborhood just the other day, had lunch with my Sister in a really creative place and browsed through a few of the very artistic stores. I plan to learn more about this area. It's currently about 20 mins from my new apartment in non rush hour traffic. Great for a Sunday morning breakfast or brunch. Who wants to join me? This is an open invitation.

I would EM if I was there. The Heights looks like a very cool part of town...looks like that sign is right out of the movie The Majestic.
Mike the Montrose area of the city will also capture your interests. In fact we'll do the entire range that Houston has to offer, from the upscale Galleria, Highland Village and River Oaks, to the more colorful and urban areas like The Heights, Montrose and others that I don't even know about. I am looking forward to it.
