Don't try this at home.........

Well what can I say? Feeling blue, have lots on your mind? Then take my advice, stay away from a Wal Mart on a weekend night. What a zoo. The feeding frenzy at the local Wal Mart in Sugarland, Texas just last night was something I can do without for a very long time. It was recommended to me that I go to Target but I did not listen. I did manage to buy a microwave oven and some things for my new apartment but it just wasn't fun. Am I whining? I suppose so. Have you ever visited a Wal Mart? What was your experience like? Let me know. Thanks

Hey EditMan, for some reason my link to your blog wasn't updating and i thought you had the time zone post up forever. Turns out when I clicked on "refresh" i saw you had written a ton since that last post. Any ideas why i'm having this problem?

Well Mike there are several sides to the Wallmart as corporate bully idea and I must say from what I've heard and seen on TV, the company does a good job of defending their operating practices. What goes on between the cracks though is where the real story is. I am sure being a vendor to that firm is no picnic. If they are like most other large companies, they are probably slow to pay, quick to ask for more and I suspect they have the home telephone numbers for many of the suppilers they deal with. They're big and they are powerful but they claim they streamline the work flow process. Who knows, maybe they are right? (Actually, I don't believe that. I believe they must be working real hard to work within the legal limits but not social boundaries of the law.) If they get their way we all have 6.00 an hour jobs in our future. There will be no people to buy what they sell.)
